A few years back I got a Yamaha home theatre in a box with my flat panel TV. Although, generally good, the sound was never great from this system, so in an effort to mitigate this, I rewired the system using good cables. This helped a bit, but the sub-woofer still seemed like the most powerful speaker out of the 5; the front and surround speakers were just too weak, the centre channel was acceptable.

Last month, I was contemplating upgrading my system, when I came across these speakers, after reading up about them, I decided to take the plunge as the price seemed right. The moment I replaced my puny front left and right monitors with these speakers, the difference was like night and day! After a few adjustments on my receiver, these speakers simply blew me away!

The mid and highs are crisp and clear and not tinny at all. The sound-stage is nice and wide and covers all the acoustics very, very well. Also, the sub-woofer suddenly didn't seem over-powering and balanced well with these speakers. Although these speakers have tuned bass ports, don't expect heart-thumping bass from them, although they do complement the sub-woofer well. The speakers seem to sound best when the bass port is placed closer to a wall.

In terms of size, these speakers aren't tiny like the ones you probably got bundled with your home theatre, they're a lot larger with bigger drivers, which is what effectively delivers the better sound.

I saved myself hundreds of dollars by not replacing my system and by just buying these speakers! I recommend these very highly to anyone looking to get better sound from their home theatre without upgrading your whole system.

I also bought the Polk Audio CS10 Center Channel Speaker but returned it as it's simply too huge! My current centre speaker works well enough for me. Also, I'm not into surround sound, I use my system mainly for music and was looking to get a better stereo experience and these speakers are great for that.

I figured for under it was worth a gamble, and I am very pleasantly surprised.
Has four different sized ear pieces, but the smaller ones can be a bit tough to get on the ear buds.
One thing I had not come across before was a burn-in period, but it could just be that I've never read any documentation with previous headphones before... This one recommended 24 to 48 hours of playing at 75% or better volume to loosen things up.

I got these because the couple pairs I had gotten for the Zune never stayed in my ears very well, and I didn't like the hard flattened circle ones that came with the ipod. These gave me the perfect choice of size, and they stay in my ears much better.

Sound is great for these - now granted, I've heard better, and have better with my full sized earphones, but I'm rating this based on the cost and convenience, so even though there may be better full sized ones out there, this is right up there with any of the earbud ones I've had.

Case is alright, small enough to let me put these in my laptop case so I've got them handy when I need them.

There is no marking at all on the right side, the left side has a small raised L on the back right where the wire comes into the earbud.

I will be curious after the warming up period is finished, if they sound even better than they did when I first tried them yesterday. Even if they stay the same, I'm more than happy, especially for the price.

This product fits perfectly into my 2005 Dodge Durango after I had replaced my factory stereo with an after-market one. It's stylish and it doesn't leave any voids on the sides.

The little drawer space (no actually drawer, just a hole) is very handy. My new stereo has a USB port, so when I use my ipod I just place it in this hole. I also use this space to hold my remote control.

The only thing bad I have to say about this product. Is the plastic part between the "hole" and the stereo is really flimsy and it looks like it is bending downward. Same can be said about the plastic rim at the very bottom. Also there is a little gap between the stereo and the plastic rim where you can see the inside metal frame. I bought a piece of car insulator, cut it, and plugged it into this gap.

Other than that the product meets my expectations.

I have a firewire-based home recording studio, where every single piece of my thousands of dollars of equipment has to feed through one 4-pin to 6-pin cable. Needless to say, if that cable is untrustworthy, the whole thing goes down in flames.

The cable I had been using was dropping out of sync with the computer at random intervals, sometimes when I bumped it and sometimes when I was nowhere near it. So I bought this Monster cable to replace it, and have never looked back. It's worth investing a few more bucks in a firewire cable if you're using it for advanced applications like high sample rate audio recording. I have this product and have enjoyed it for several years. We take it when we go on vacation and camping if there happens to be electricity. It works a treat, though as some reviewers have said it does not work with the newest nano but I think that should be apples fault and not EOS. Some reviewers have stated that it doesn't work well with the itouch/iphone to play pandora/rhapsody/last fm, but EOS does have a transmitter that you can plug into your computer or other device and play those things. They also have an Iphone/itouch app that allows you to control it from where ever you are. I really like this product and I think that some of the negative reviews stem from the fact that people bought it expecting it to do much more than what it was advertised to do. If you want a great wireless speaker set for your ipod then buy this, if want something else then buy the other transmitter and amplifier that the company sells.
